Good news for the educated unemployed in the state. The government will soon appoint 10,789 numbers of TET qualified candidates for the post of teacher in various primary and high schools.
The government of Assam is working hard to fill up the vacancies and hence curve the unemployment arises due to pandemic. Assam Health Minister Shri. Himanta Biswa Sharma told in a press conference that the second medical college will be set up in Guwahati.
The recruitment process will be completed before December. This was stated by Minister Himanta Bishwa Sharma at a news meet at Janata Bhavan on Saturday. In parallel, the foundation stone of 9 women’s colleges will be laid within 45 days.
On the other hand, the government will set up 10 law colleges. These colleges will be Defu, Dibrugarh, Tezpur, Silchar, Lakhimpur, Rangia, Bilasipara, Tihu, Raha, Jorhat. 6 degree colleges will be established. These colleges will be located in Shonitpur, Tinsukia, Majuli, Chirang, Odalguri and Baxa.
The government has also approved Rs 100 crore for it. The second medical college will be set up in Guwahati. New hospitals will be set up at Charaideu, Bishwanath Chariali, and Goalpara.
Minister Sharma also announced the construction of several new flyovers. One of them will be at Maligaon in Guwahati.
A flyover will be constructed at Mission Chariali in Tezpur. The government will spend Rs 2,620 crore for the construction of the two bridges. 264 km Minister Dr. Sharma announced that the state government would build the road from its own capital.
These roads will be constructed in Nagaon-Dhing, Charaideu, Jorhat-Kamarbandha, Bangshar-Hajo, Dalgaon-Dhekiyajuli, Chipajhar-Tongla, Rangia Kaurbaha-Nagrijuli, Mukalmua-Jagara, Pilashbari, Palashbari.
